The first day of the conference just started and it has been a good start. The weather is quite nice (considering that we are in Sweden).

Pär Ågerfalk and Jenny Eriksson Lundström gave a good overview not only over the schedule but also over our fantastic conference venue. It is for example possible to borrow a bike from the hotel to explore the beautiful surroundings and get a glimpse of the swedish nature life. Or you can try one of the two jacuzzis on the terrace.

In the very first keynote Prof. Alan Hevner went a bit deeper into design theory. It was interesting to hear about the ways knowledge is generated and developed. Prof. Hevner presented a knowledge contribution framework for DSR in form of a matrix. In his last part he also talks about the future, for example about the fitness of a design.

Now its time for  the SCIS paper session in London (Design) and New York (The Interaction Society).

See you later at the reception!
